So, you’re probably looking for more about who I am and what I do.

I believe that every arts organization, no matter what budget level, has the ability to do great things using both traditional and digital marketing to increase ticket sales, memberships, and contributions.

I travel the country speaking at conferences and teaching workshops to empower arts administrators with knowledge and inspiration.  In tactical sessions, I share knowledge on how to do things like run a Facebook advertising campaign and use data to make smarter marketing decisions.  I also do keynotes that focus on how we, as arts organizations, can be more authentic in the way we communicate and how we can curate the patron experience to bring in new audiences and better engage current ones.

I grew up in a family of artists and musicians. I learned to read music at the same time I learned to read text. I started out playing the violin (even though I really wanted to play viola). I trained to be a professional ballet dancer but eventually became a classical singer. I have a penchant for pants roles and Bach cantatas. I’m a chronic early adopter when it comes to all things tech.

I always have at least one Star Trek TNG reference in my conference session slide decks, I unashamedly quote Parks and Recreation in client meetings, and I have a fondness for old-timey words like “ne’er-do-well.”

Ceci is a one woman arts marketing army.

Ceci is a multi-faceted marketing professional with over 10 years of experience successfully marketing the arts and nonprofits utilizing innovative and cutting-edge initiatives. Currently the Digital Marketing Manager at FORM, she is nationally recognized as a leader in digital and social media marketing and specializes in the integration of digital marketing and technology into traditional marketing methods.

A frequent public speaker, Ceci’s recent and upcoming engagements feature national conference appearances at NTEN, National Arts Marketing Project, Arts Midwest, OPERA America, and Chorus America in addition to many other local and regional events. Known for her easy-going and vernacular style, she creates open learning environments with an emphasis on information sharing and useful takeaways.

Ceci is passionate about empowering people through marketing and is a contributor to Arts Hacker where she regularly shares timely information and step-by-step tutorials. She also teaches the arts marketing course at West Virginia University’s College of Creative Arts.

A chronic early-adopter, Ceci has a passion for discovering ways that technology can be used to create more engaging arts experiences.  The Curated Arts Experience focuses on collecting real-world case studies about how organizations around the world are using technology to engage the participant or enrich the experience at an arts event.

She is on the Arts Midwest Conference Professional Development Committee, the NTEN Conference Session Advisory Committee, is the Immediate Past President and Chapter Founder of Femfessionals West Palm Beach, the Immediate Past Chapter Leader and Chapter Founder of the West Palm Beach Chapter of Girl Develop It, the Immediate Past President of the South Florida Chapter of the American Marketing Association, and served for many years on the National Arts Marketing Project Advisory Committee and as the OPERA America Marketing Network Chair.  She also serves on the West Virginia University College of Creative Arts Visiting Committee.

Ceci was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA and graduated from West Virginia University with a music degree in vocal performance.  She currently lives in Cleveland, Ohio.

I regularly speak on topics relating to digital marketing around the country.

Some of my favorite topics for tactical sessions are website optimization, email marketing, social media best practices and advertising, and using data to make informed marketing decisions.

I also do keynote addresses designed to inspire arts administrators. Current topics include how we can communicate more authentically to current and potential patrons and curate the patron experience to be more relevant, engaging, and fun.
